Our BCA Board Members

Our board members are unpaid volunteers who provide their time and expertise in order to improve the processes and policies for organisations who work in care

Cliff Grand-Scrutton

Cliff Grand-Scrutton is the Director and Registered Manager of Larchfield House, a specialist Nursing Dementia home. 

He has held senior management positions for over 35 years, having started his career in the military and then transferring those skills to the healthcare market. 

Cliff is also Chair of a Dementia Charity and Chair of Advisors for a supported living group.

Janet Fevrier

Janet  is General Manager of the Abbeyfield Maidenhead Society with responsibility for 2 care homes.

Over the past 25 years, Janet has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience through her work in a variety of  statutory services as well as being CEO for  ‘Crossroads’.

She is proud to work with very professional, well-trained and caring teams who all strive to provide the best possible care.


David Tanner

David  currently runs St David’s Nursing Home and St Christopher’s Care Home at Ascot Priory.

David has worked in the care sector for over 30 years and  is passionate about the Social Care sector, determined to ensure providers receive the recognition and support they deserve.  He is also an advocate for providers sharing their knowledge to improve the profile of care across Berkshire.

Before joining the family business, David was an accountant working for large retail and brewing companies.

Tania Pell

Tania is Director of Forget me not Residential Home in Slough.

Tania has a wealth of knowledge and experience in adult social care which she is always willing to share. Her career having been ignited after looking for a care home for her father-in-law, when she and her husband adapted their family home into a care home for 16 older people.

She is passionate about providing the best possible care with compassion and strives for outstanding services for all.

Nikki Willcock

Nikki is Co-founder and Director at Nest Homecare in Windsor. Nikki’s passion for the care industry stems back over 12 years when her father was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia. Since them, she has focussed on supporting those with dementia and helping them live as happily and independently as possible.

Nikki previously held management positions within the IT Sector.

Nikki is also a founding member of the WAM DAA and the local Assistive Technology Group.
