Community Dental Services in Berkshire
Community dental services are available in a variety of places to ensure everyone can have access to dental health. These include hospitals, specialist health centres and mobile clinics, as well as home visits or visits in nursing and care homes.

The Royal Berkshire Hospital
The Royal Berkshire Hospital is running a dedicated Care Home helpline
You can call the team to get an update on a resident/client that is currently a patient at RBH and to arrange assessments and get information for potential new residents/clients being discharged. There is a regular care home forum that care providers are encouraged to join if they regularly deal with RBH in relation to their residents/clients.

UCR provides a rapid assessment, diagnostic and treatment service to prevent hospital admission.
Patients referred to the service if appropriate are seen within 2 hours. UCR will work to safely keep them at home where clinically indicated, if ongoing medical treatment is required patients will be admitted to the Frailty Virtual Ward.
