FREE Online ReSPECT training for Care Home & Community staff
ReSPECT stands for ‘Recommended Summary Plan for Emergency Care and Treatment’ and it involves people creating personalised recommendation for their clinical care in emergency situations where they are not able to take decisions or express their wishes.
Frimley Health and Care is inviting all care home and community staff that an employed within East Berkshire, Surrey Heath or North East Hampshire and Farnham to receive free online training on ReSPECT.
These sessions are under an hour and a facilitated so you will have an opportunity to ask questions. There are a number of different training sessions being made available through three different organisations:
- Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice
- Thames Hospice
- Berkshire Care Association
Please see the attached poster for the dates and times of the facilitated sessions. The sessions will be hosted on Zoom and you are welcome to join any of them. To book your place, please email the relevant provider of the session to request access (see poster for details).
Below is an outline of what each level will cover and who it’s aimed at. Please check with your line manager to ensure you are signed up for the right level.
